Winning Hearts and Minds
The war of hearts and minds is between those who believe in the principle of equality in the United States Constitution and those who want to impose their particular views on everyone.
There is a shift in America moving away from the principles established in the oldest constitution in the world. A move to reinvent history and make people believe that:
- Our country was founded on religious principles
- The judicial branch should not be independent
- The executive branch should have unprecedented powers
- Certain civil rights (e.g., marriage) are only for heterosexuals
